In the souvenir, Mr. Safayat Sobhan, Vice Chairman of Bashundhara Group, said that the history of the struggle for the freedom of Bengali speaking people was written from the language movement of 1952. Their involvement and heroism was written on the banners of the time on posters and on the walls. The letters are of honor and glory. Bashundhara Group has created 3 fonts with a unique initiative to enrich that alphabet. We hope that these fonts will be useful to our people and will enrich the Bengali language. We hope that this small effort will contribute to the smooth expression and use of the Bengali language. At the same time, our efforts will be successful only if the readers, writers, linguists and all those associated with Bangla fonts get the minimum benefit. Font developer Selim Hossain Saju has been working on Bangla fonts for many years. To create these 3 fonts, he has taken various movements centered elements on the freedom struggle, the great liberation war of 1971 and the diversity of our Bengal as inspiration. And by extending their hand of cooperation in this whole work, Bashundhara Gura Masala i.e., Bashundhara Group was by their side in the full process.
